Camp Dangwa, Benguet: Joint operatives of Regional Intelligence Division, Regional Mobile Group and Kalinga police arrested one of the Top most wanted person within Cordillera Region on November 3, 2009 at Sitio Ileb Barangay Nambaran Tabuk, Kalinga.
Officer in Charge of the Regional Intelligence Division, Psupt Cesar Pasiwen identified the suspect as Jerry Lambayong Dangiw, 35 years old, married and former PNP member previously assigned in Kalinga Province. He was arrested by virtue of arrest warrant issued by RTC judge Marcelino Wacas in criminal case number 6-2009 for murder with a reward under DILG memo circular 2000-144 in the amount of one hundred fifty thousand pesos. The suspect is now under the custody of Kalinga PPO for proper documentation prior turned over to the Court concerned.
Pcsupt Orlando L Pestano lauded the efforts of the police for their successful apprehension in line with the LOI Manhunt Bravo of the PNP so that justice will prevail. He further said that the police operation against wanted criminals is of no let up and will continuously implemented in order to maintain law and order here in Cordillera.
