SAN ILDEFONSO, Ilocos Sur – Police investigators here are probing the death of a woman whose naked body was found floating in the river of Barangay Gongogong, this town, early Saturday morning.
Senior Inspector Paul Doles, San Ildefonso town chief of police, said there were indications that the victim had been raped.
Initial investigation showed that the woman was killed in other place before her body was dumped in the vicinity of the town.
“Before the discovery of the cadaver of this woman, we didn’t receive any reports of missing person from the municipality or even from other towns in the province,” Dole said in an interview. (Freddie G. Lazaro)
