TWO boardinghouses in Baguio were robbed in the last two days, by what police suspected as the work of one burglary group.
Reported stolen from the occupants of both boardinghouses were cash and several cellular phones amounting to P28,000.
Sabina A. Manalo, a boarder of a boardinghouse owned by Fiel Buencamino located along Sunflower Street, Navy Base lost three cellular phones worth P12,000 and P2,000 cash Tuesday dawn. She called the police after being awakened by her car’s alarm.
Last Monday dawn another boardinghouse at 4 Jungle Town Road, Salud Mitra was also burglarized.
Boarders Corazon A. David lost P7,000, her son Christian lost his cellular phone valued at P4,950 and Jane A. Vispiras lost a cellular phone worth P1,800.
Police are conducting follow up investigation on the two burglaries.
