SESSION Road will now be closed regularly for promenades.
The closure began last Sunday and every Sunday thereafter.
The closure will be experimental and covers certain portions of Session Road – between Patria de Baguio building and the Philippine National Bank, and at the opposite lane between the Philippine Long Distance Telephone company building and McDonalds.

ABOUT P159 million worth of illegal or dangerous drugs were confiscated in the Cordillera from January to June this year.
Two of the agencies that accumulated this large haul were the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (Pdea) and the Police Regional Office in the Cordillera (Procor).

Benguet jail warden, another suspended
THE warden and a guard at the Benguet Provincial Jail were suspended for 90 days, pending resolutions of the charges filed against them.
Benguet Governor Nestor Fongwan issued the preventive suspension of provincial warden James Simon and jail guard Peter Digman effective July 1.
